Amber Redmond

Treasurer

Amber (Scott) Redmond is a 1997 graduate of Hazelwood Central High School, where she developed her skill for her lifetime passion of music. Prior to an invitation to audition for the St. Louis symphony, Amber earned a full music scholarship to play viola in Jackson State University's (JSU) orchestra located in Jackson, MS. In 2004, Amber received a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Jackson State University. Later, post college, Amber started her professional career in retail as Assistant Manager of New York & Company Women's Clothing and Seasonal Manager at Macy's. Later she served as Operation Manager for Ladue Pharmacy in Ladue MO. She now works for Memorial Medical Group Family Practice in Belleville, Illinois and is currently in training for a practice manager position.

 

In addition to being a mother of two and a wife, Amber believes in community service, giving back to her community, and is a strong advocate for HBCUs and mentoring our youth. She volunteers for the Annie Malone Foundation, a non-for-profit organization centered around social services for disadvantaged youth. She has served as committee chairperson for the Cub Scout Pack 374, and is now a board member of the Fairview Heights Khoury League. She also mentors students that have recently been accepted and currently attending JSU.
